Qualifications and Experience
A seasoned quantitative and qualitative researcher, Sophya is
responsible for all phases of the operations including development,
sales, marketing, compliance, human resources, and more. She directs
successful fulfillment of local and national grant requirements, leads
in the development, implementation, delivery and training for national
programs. Sophya represents company at state, regional and national
conferences. Most recently, Sophya has presented domestically in over
10 states as well as internationally in United Arab Emirates, Turkey,
and USA. She manages all aspects of talent acquisition and development.
Sophya joined TRIZ Biopharma Innovations as a research manager and she
quickly grew within our organization. She joins us from NYU Langone
Medical Center; Bellevue Hospital; Hospital for Joint Diseases; and
Veterans’ Affairs Hospital where her research focus was on Geriatric
Neuropsychology where she was a Principal Investigator of
“Postoperative cognitive decline, inflammation, and plasma levels of
beta-amyloids” for 3 years. Prior to that, she has taught Psychology at
CCNY.
Sophya is a member of Society for Industrial & Organizational
Psychology; Foundation for Perioperative Research and Education; and
American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Sophya’s volunteer experience includes work at the Palisades General
Hospital in NJ. She has also studied Psychometrics at The Center for
Brain Health in New York. Sophya has completed a Clinical Psychology
Internship at JBFCS. Additionally, she was a psychotherapy columnist
for Russian Parents newspaper with distribution on the East and West
Coasts.
Sophya has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in
Clinical/Organizational psychology, and most recently a Master’s in
Human Resources Management from New York University.
